Vassilis and his wife adopted Sasha, a little girl with cerebral palsy.
The mother, however, could not bear the difficulties of raising a child with special needs and abandoned them. However, Vassilis did not give up and devoted himself completely to the care of his beloved daughter.
Six years ago, after several unsuccessful attempts to have a child, Vassilis and his ex-wife decided to proceed with the adoption of a child.
The couple wanted to adopt a newborn, so that they could experience all the stages of fatherhood, but also motherhood. When they saw the little red-haired Sasha, who had been abandoned in the orphanage as soon as he was born, they immediately felt that this would be their child.
Over time, the parents began to notice some delay in its development and the doctors diagnosed that the child was suffering from cerebral palsy.
At first, the couple took care of Sasha, but then the woman began to distance herself until she left them. For a whole year, Vassilis took care of Sasha alone and promised that he would never leave her. In fact, he quit his job so he could completely devoted to his daughter.
In the spring of 2019, the man learned about a rehabilitation center where they could help them. Indeed, Sasha seemed to be improving and learning alternative ways of communication. situation and gladly accepted Sasha.

The couple then had another daughter, Maroussia, and together they can face the difficulties and look to the future with optimism.
