Now that schools are starting again, it is important for children and adults alike to know the basic rules of hygiene against viruses...
Do not rest your hands on your mouth, nose or eyes to prevent the transmission of germs.
When outside the house, touch common objects (eg knobs, telephones, handles, computer mouse, etc.) using antiseptic wipes or wipe your hands with wipes immediately afterwards.
When coughing or sneezing, cover the nose and mouth with the sleeve at elbow height and do not cough in the palms, so that germs do not spread. Ideally, we use a tissue which we will throw away immediately afterwards.
If we feel like coughing or sneezing at meal time, we turn our head so as not to cough / sneeze on the food.
We take care of our physical cleanliness by taking frequent showers and baths.
Do not forget to thoroughly clean the back, armpits, elbows, sensitive area, back of the knees and feet (especially the area between the toes).
We take care to keep our hair clean with frequent shampooing.
We change underwear and socks daily.
When we return home, we take off the clothes we were wearing outside. If it is for washing, we put them together with the rest of the unwashed clothes, otherwise we fold them and place them in a special place and not with the rest of the clean clothes in the closet.
We brush our teeth twice a day.
To clean our teeth we use a toothpick, toothbrush or floss.
We cut our nails regularly, because they are a "hiding place" of germs.
When we go to the toilet, we do not rest our hands on the pelvis.
If we are away from home, do not sit on the toilet. • After the toilet, we must wipe properly. Girls should be wiped from front to back.
Always pull the cistern, throw the used toilet paper in the basket and not in the basin.
We do not lend to our friends personal items, such as toothbrush, towel, sponge and mainly utensils such as our glass of water, etc.
